A: We always take the rate of 5.99% to calculate our payments because it is the mid-market rate. This rate may vary from 4.9% to 7.9% depending on the amount financed, the term you choose and your credit rating.
Q: Is the price negotiable?
A: Unfortunately no. Please note that we validate our prices daily to ensure a fair price. Also, Shopicar offers you fair price insurance, which means that if you find a similar vehicle with the same features and conditions, at a lower price, we will match the price and refund you 10% of the difference. This is how confident we are in our prices!
Q: How does it work?
A: The process is very simple. You find the vehicle that interests you. Then you complete the online purchase of your vehicle. The process is completed in 8 steps. If you find the vehicle you want, a member of our team will also be able to assist you in the online purchase process. We take care of the sale, financing and delivery of your next vehicle without pressure.
Q: Can I do a test drive?
A: Of course! In fact, we offer a real test drive unlike the competition. Indeed, we have a trial period of 7 days or 500 km. You complete the purchase process online, then we plan the delivery of your vehicle. At this time, you will have the opportunity to view the vehicle and try it out. If the vehicle does not meet your expectations, we will refund your deposit and we will not complete the purchase. If you change your mind within 7 days or 500 km, no problem, we will give you a full refund.
Q: Can I see the vehicle before I buy it?
A: Unfortunately, no. You need to understand that we do 100% online sales. At any time though, you can refer to the immersive 360-degree photos of the vehicle and to the other photos in the gallery. All of our vehicles contain hotspots that show you cosmetic imperfections. However, do not worry if when you receive your vehicle it is not to your liking, you have a 7-day or 500 km trial period. All you have to do is tell us your dissatisfaction and we will give you a full refund.
Q: Has the vehicle ever been in an accident?
A: All the vehicles in our marketplace have never been in an accident. You have access to the Carfax report of all our vehicles to reassure you
Q: Do you have 2nd and 3rd chance credit?
A: Absolutely, we have a dedicated alternative credit department.
Q: Can you take my car in trade in?
A: Absolutely, we have buying partners of all brands and models.
Q: I still have a balance left on my trade-in vehicle, can you take it back anyway?

Q: I have a leased vehicle, can you take it back in exchange?
A: Without any problems. It would be important that you call your original dealer to get the exact balance of your lease.
Q: I do not have any credit in Canada, can you finance it for me?
A: Yes! It all depends on your situation but we have programs for newcomers.
Q: You don't have what I'm looking for in inventory.
A: If you wish, we offer an online brokerage service. This way, we can find the vehicle of your dreams while respecting Shopicar quality.
Q: Are your vehicles guaranteed?
A: Absolutely, we provide a 100 days or 5,000 km warranty free of charge that covers the powertrain as well as the safety components. We also offer optional Shopicare protection plan which covers 90% of your vehicle's components.
Q: Is it safe to buy a vehicle on your platform?
A: Absolutely, all of your personal data is stored on our highly secure digital server. We and our partners are subject to the law on personal information and we are all rigorous about the security aspect of a completely online transaction.
Q: How does your Shopicar satisfaction insurance work?
A: You have 7 calendar days or 500 km of testing for your vehicle. Please note that the 1st day is the delivery date. You have until the 7th day at 5:00 PM to notify us of your desire to exchange or cancel your transaction. In the case of full cancellation, the vehicle must be returned in the same condition as on delivery, esthetic and mechanical, without having undergone any modification or alteration. If the vehicle has been registered, the SAAQ will issue the plate refund directly to the customer according to their terms. Maximum of 2 vehicles benefiting from a 7-day guarantee. The 3rd does not benefit from Shopicar satisfaction assurance. It is important to know that certain types of financing are not subject to Shopicar satisfaction insurance.
Q: If I have a problem with my car what should I do?
A: Please contact customer support at 1 (800) 977-7008 or email info@shopicar.com and you will be able to complete a discrepancy form with our expert. He will then guide you to find a solution to the problem.
